🎙️ For several years now, on the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, we have been highlighting inspiring women employees. After Carole, Claire-Marie, Rokhayatou, Aurélie and Laurence, it’s now Catherine’s turn, Group Industrialisation Manager at LFB since 2023.

Although some industrial jobs are predominantly for men, she has been able to make a difference during her professional career and inspire other women to follow in her footsteps.

Read her testimonial.

Interview of Catherine Zune, Industrialization Director at LFB from 2023: "At the beginning of my career, I was often the only woman around my male colleagues! Through my various experiences and by taking on management roles, I have promoted diversity in my teams and shown that women have their rightful place in industry."
What are your job at LFB? And why did you chosse this job? Since I joined the company in 2023, I've been responsible for LFB's Industrialisation department, i.e. everything to do with drug manufacturing processes in the production environment. What I like about this job is the role we play in supporting the production teams and the collaborative work we do with different departments in the company, so that together we can improve the manufacturing processes.
What are you most proud of in your professional career? At the beginning of my career, I was often the only woman around my male colleagues! Through my various experiences and by taking on management roles, I've encouraged diversity in my teams and shown that women have their rightful place in industry.
What advice would you give to a young girl about choosing her career path? If you're passionate about science, go for it! Diversity in the scientific field (and not only that!) is a real asset in the way teams operate and production environments evolve.
