Visit in 2023 by IBIS 2023 Master’s programme students

The Alès site in the Gard department of France opened its doors to students in 2023 from the IBIS Master’s programme of the University of Montpellier

31 students from the Master’s programme in Therapeutic Engineering and Bioproduction in Health Biotechnology were welcomed by our teams at the LFB Biomanufacturing site in Alès, which manufactures clinical and commercial batches of recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies. Following a presentation of the company by Herbert GUEDEGBE, Site Director, the group visited the process development laboratories as well as the manufacturing units alongside Coralie Bernon, Head of Process Development, and David Balbuena, Head of Process Development and GMP Production.

The objectives of this meeting were to:
– present to the students and teachers the activities of LFB, a pharmaceutical company active in the Occitanie region of France,
– showcase the different professions and career prospects available to students,
– forge ties between the school and the company.
