Paris-Orsay and Alès, France, November 3, 2026 – Blue Bees Therapeutics, a French biotechnology company specializing in the development of cancer immunotherapies, and LFB BIOMANUFACTURING, a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturer in France, have entered into a strategic partnership.

The partnership aims to develop manufacturing processes that can be scaled up to industrial level for BB101, Blue Bees Therapeutics’ lead drug candidate. BB101 is an innovative bispecific fusion protein intended to fight several forms of cancer.

As a first-in-class molecule, it will be evaluated in clinical trials in head and neck cancers, as well as in gastric cancers.

As part of this partnership, LFB BIOMANUFACTURING will leverage its extensive expertise in the production of therapeutic proteins to develop and industrialize a manufacturing process compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). BB101 is the first molecule from Blue Bees Therapeutics’ proprietary technology, which bispecifically engages a targeted receptor and a co-receptor of the HSPG (heparan sulfate proteoglycan) family to stimulate the anti-tumor immune response.

The collaboration will cover the development and validation of robust analytical methods, the establishment of cell banks, the scale-up of drug substance production, and the preparation of the regulatory documentation required for clinical trials, namely the IMPD (Investigational Medicinal Product Dossier) and IND (Investigational New Drug) application. The objective is to ensure that BB101 production meets the stringent regulatory standards required for clinical trials.

Dr. Marie-Noëlle Ly, Chief Development Officer of Blue Bees Therapeutics, stated: “This partnership with LFB BIOMANUFACTURING marks a major milestone for Blue Bees Therapeutics, as we advance our immunotherapeutic innovations toward pharmaceutical-grade production for clinical trials. By developing treatments that address the pathophysiology linked to immunosuppression in many types of cancer, and by leveraging LFB’s robust industrial expertise, we are positioned to make a significant impact on patient care in areas where medical needs remain largely unmet.”

Herbert Guedegbe, Chief Executive Officer of LFB BIOMANUFACTURING, added: “We are proud to support Blue Bees Therapeutics in the development of BB101. This partnership is a great example of what France can offer in the biomanufacturing of innovative therapies, and of our ability to support our partners at every stage of the development and production of their drug candidates. Our expertise in manufacturing complex therapeutic proteins and our Alès site are at Blue Bees’ disposal to help bring this new treatment to the clinic faster.”

About Blue Bees Therapeutics:

Founded in 2022, Blue Bees Therapeutics is a biotechnology company focused on the development of innovative immunotherapies for cancer, with BB101 being the first drug candidate designed to boost immune response to control tumors. The company’s breakthrough technology was discovered by Dr. Michel Léonetti and their team in the Department of Medicines and Healthcare Technologies at CEA Paris-Saclay. Blue Bees Therapeutics has also built a screening platform to identify and produce novel immunotherapies or enhance existing anti-immune-checkpoint therapies. The laboratory is located on the CEA Paris-Saclay campus.
